laboratory testing

Chilworth’s services include the complete range of physico-chemical tests required for European regulatory purposes

Both REACH & CLP require information to be put into a Safety Data Sheet (SDS). This SDS is divided into 16 sections whereby Section 1, Hazard Identification, Section 5 Fire Fighting Measures, Section 9 Physical and Chemical Properties, Sections 14 & 15 Transportation and Regulatory information will all require physico-chemical data for compliance and risk evaluation. Chilworth’s REACH services include the complete range of physico-chemical tests required for compliance and regulation.

How Chilworth Can Help

Our range of laboratory services from our GLP and ISO 9001 compliant testing laboratory provides a service to enable clients to comply with various regulatory requirements relating to the sale, transportation and use of hazardous chemicals.

  • Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation & restriction of Chemicals (REACH)
  • Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP)
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods including UN, DOT, ADR, IMDG, IATA
  • Biocidal Products Regulations (BPR)
  • Aerosol products
  • Pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals

Chilworth's testing laboratories are able to handle powders, liquids and gases, even if they are classified or believed to be toxic, highly active or controlled. Our fully equipped chemical testing laboratory can handle highly energetic substances (explosives).
